LETHBRIDGE LGBTQ Police/Community Liaison Committee
After a year of discussion with Chief Tom McKenzie and Sergeant Dan Walton along with Diversity Officers Constable Les Vonkeman and the late Constable Sheldon Twigg, the Lethbridge Regional Police Department (LRPS) and OUT Reach Southern Alberta Society (GALA/LA) have committed to the creation of an LGBTQ police/community liaison committee.

OUTreach Southern Alberta responds to the needs of the local and the broader lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, two-spirit, and queer (LGBTTQ) community of Lethbridge and the surrounding area by supplying resources, education and opportunities to foster self-determination, civic engagement and community participation.
